This unusual project entailed strip foundations for a modular building on an existing roof area.  This involved work to the ashphalt surface, without damaging the integrity of the waterproofing system, already in place.

Coupled with the logistics of transporting plant, labour and materials to the roof area, whilst working within a naval dockyard restrictions, posed a challenge successfully met.
